So we had an interesting start to our day when our train was cancelled part way through the journey! Luckily we met up with some amazing guys from Paris and Athens also travelling to St John Pied de Port for The Camino. We all got together and shared a taxi so we have made great friends already. Thank you so much for securing our travel.
St John Pied de Port is a really lovely little town. We’ve been to the accreditation office and our Camino Passports now have their first stamps. We also have our symbolic scallop shells safely secured on our backpacks.
It’s raining and we hear there may be snow tomorrow so setting off early to start our journey.
