Our route today took us through the sizeable towns of Camborne, Redruth and Truro as well small villages.
From the very start it was a journey through Cornwall’s industrial heritage. There are several Mineral Tramway Trails, one of which we followed letting us see the remains of the industrial infrastructure of the 19th century. The landscape is regularly punctuated with interesting ruins and associated debris of the mining era but also plenty of evidence of the power of nature to reclaim and restore the beautiful countryside.

Fascinating scenery, I’m sure the buildings could tell a few tales!
