Janet and Kevin’s Very Big Walk

Day 2, Penzance to Camborne.

There is no doubt St Michael’s Mount dominates the coast in this area, and we can understand why. It certainly looked striking in the sunshine this morning.

We have spent more time on quiet country lanes today. This was a conscious decision as some smaller and more remote paths have disappeared or are inaccessible due to being overgrown or obstructed. However, this is all part of the adventure and we’ve enjoyed adapting our route as we go.

The adaptations have meant more time venturing along the beautiful lanes with spectacular wild flowers and took us through some lovely little villages.

Does anyone know the name of the giant plant in the photos?
