Janet and Kevin’s Very Big Walk

Day 6, Lostwithiel to Liskeard.

Another early start today with a low mist over the hills. Lovely and cool!

We had planned for our route to take us through the Boconnoc Estate, one of the most spectacular stately homes in Cornwall. However, this was not to be, as the path was closed and locals confirmed we could not go through. We had read about people using this previously in various blogs. This meant we had to take an alternative route, of course this was longer! Another beautiful river walk followed with more bluebells.

As expected, it’s been another hilly day and the go slow sign on a steep uphill section really made us smile. We didn’t think we could go any slower!!

Rest Day tomorrow, laundrette, admin and ZZZ ZZZ !!!!!
