Day 7, Los Arcos to Logrono.

We have two long days of nearly twenty miles today and tomorrow. Our plan to ensure we complete these in good time is to set off early, this meant leaving in the dark, with head torches on. It was certainly quiet, cool and peaceful when we left and Los Arcos looked fantastic at this time.

After walking in the dark for a while we were quickly rewarded with a gorgeous sunrise that eventually lit up the whole area with an orange glow. Beautiful.

Leaving early meant we could set a good pace for the day to cover the distance to arrive in Logrono in the early afternoon.

We have again walked past vineyards and olive groves all immaculately presented in straight rows. Some have covered huge areas and others just small corners of land. We are now at the heart of the Rioja region and are staying in the capital Logrono.
